<reviewbody>When I was listening to 'Oh Promise Me' it occured to me how such a record could never be put out today. This is the type of song that well, doesn't really define masculinity lol. When a man sings that he wants to "find where the hollows bloom", today, well.. HELLO? lol. I am sure this was all fine and dandy in the 20's (well, maybe not).</reviewbody>

<review><reviewbody>Oh how I adore this song of old. It was about true love, not just shaking the sheets. I first heard this song on Anne of Avonlea and absolutely fell in love with it. It's a beautiful piece meant to be sung by a man and woman who are deeply in love with each other. The first part is sung by the man and the second is sung by the woman. I wish some of today's good artists would sing it as the only way to get it is to download a grainy version from 1900. Oh well.</reviewbody>
